Terms of Use

Welcome to Sevor. Before creating an account or signing in, members must explicitly agree to these Terms of Use. This version is 2026-10-08.

1. Account & Responsibility

Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and all activity on your account.

2. Renting Process

The owner is responsible for the item’s quality, and the renter must return it in the same condition. Any dispute over the deposit is handled through the platform’s “Deposit Manager” mechanism.

3. Payments & Deposits

Payments and deposit holds are processed through a secure system. Sevor reserves the right to suspend or cancel any suspicious transaction.

4. Community Safety and Prohibited Content
  • Listing or renting illegal or stolen items.
  • Using the platform for fraudulent purposes or to harass, threaten, exploit, or abuse other users.
  • Posting or sending unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative, violent, discriminatory, deceptive, spam, or otherwise objectionable content.

SEVOR has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Listings are reviewed before publication. Members can report objectionable listings, profiles, messages, and reviews, and can block another member at any time. Blocking removes that member’s listings and direct conversations from the blocker’s experience immediately.

5. Reporting and Moderation

Safety reports enter a moderation queue with a review deadline. SEVOR may hide content, suspend a listing, suspend an account, or take another appropriate action. The team is expected to review actionable safety reports promptly and take appropriate action within 24 hours. Do not use reporting for emergencies; contact local emergency services when there is an immediate risk of harm.

6. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or close any account that violates laws or these terms without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and designs on the platform are the property of Sevor and may not be used without permission.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, and any dispute shall be submitted to the competent local courts.
